Ski Lake Tahoe
To Ski Lake Tahoe is an exciting and unique experience due to the huge snow fall, great ski runs, gorgeous scenery and casinos present in the area for a fun end of the day activity.
If you’re looking for a rewarding place to ski, Lake Tahoe is the ideal place to be. Tahoe is one of the most well-known mountains for avid fans of snow sports.

Ski Lake Tahoe is a marketing consortium of the six largest ski resorts in Lake Tahoe that pool resources to fund national branding and marketing efforts. Ski Lake Tahoe is again offering a fantastic way to enjoy the best of Lake Tahoe skiing and riding

Lake Tahoe is home to over a dozen ski resorts. Ski Lake Tahoe offers one of the longest ski seasons anywhere. On the north shore there is Squaw Valley, the home of the 1960 Winter Olympics and Alpine Meadows, the skier's mountain. Also on the north shore is Royal Gorge, one of the large Nordic resorts found anywhere. Northstar-at-Tahoe, Mt. Rose, Homewood, and Sugar Bowl also make their homes on the north shore.

On Lake Tahoe's south shore are situated Heavenly and Kirkwood. Heavenly offers up the creature comforts while Kirkwood offers up terrific steeps. And over on the east shore there is Spooner Lake which is offering a great Nordic experience.

Lake Tahoe ski season usually runs from Thanksgiving through Easter, with Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows usually battling to close last during the month of May, with Squaw offering up turns on the Fourth of July, conditions permitting.
